As the son of a plumber and public school teacher, who moved to NYC with one suitcase and slept in an attic before I could afford to rent my first apartment, I understand what it takes to chart your own path to create a life and career you feel fulfilled by. I've been able to transform my personal journey into public impact by creating the tools and spaces I once needed as a first-gen professional. I brings authenticity and representation to the career development space, where voices like mine are often missing.

At one of my recent For The Firsts meetups, someone said, "We often build the things we needed when we were younger." And that rang especially true for me. My work speaks directly to the younger version of myself. I was the college student who nearly got my enrollment canceled due to a financial aid error, the young professional who struggled to connect with my peers in management consulting, and the new father who is still figuring out how to lead a family without having a clear model to follow.
